As someone who dreams of working on books this project that I was able to execute at SCAD features several spreads of some of my favorite fantasy worlds from books. It is important to note that the maps were not draw by me but their respective illustrators and can be found at the front of these books. Some have been colorized or given gold embellishments to fit the concept of this Atlas. However the cover and die cute elements were all illustrated by myself. As well as the binding of the book was done by hand for this project. Overall this Atlas of Imaginary Lands (complete with ribbon bookmark) was a wonderful learning experience and easily one of my favorite things that I have made.
The map spread for A Darker Shade of Magic has each of the London's printed on translucent paper. The mini envelopes with wax seals each contain the proper token needed to cross from one world to the next.
