This speaks hugely to the kind of illustrations that I used to create all the time. It was alos one of the first pieces i created when i realized that I didn't have to use a black fine liner. I still very much enjoy this style of illustration but I have always wanted to try to tackle portraiture and realism. My goal was to always find a way to marry the two styles when I felt comfortable.
